Multi-chart layouts (paid plans) let you open 2–8 charts on one screen — for example XAUUSD H4 + H1 + M15 side by side for multi-timeframe analysis. Enable symbol/interval/crosshair sync so all charts move together. Free users can approximate this by opening multiple browser tabs.

Save layouts by clicking the layout name at the top-right → Save. Create separate layouts per purpose: "Gold Analysis", "Forex Majors", "News Day". Indicator templates save too: arrange your favorite indicators → right-click → Save Indicator Template — then apply them to any symbol in one click.

Paper Trading is TradingView's built-in simulated account letting you trade fake money on real market prices — like a demo account, but inside TradingView itself. Bar Replay (the rewind-arrow button on the top bar) lets you jump the chart back in time, then play candles forward one by one as if the market were live. You cannot see the future — making it the most honest decision-training tool there is.

How to train: pick a random past date → analyze and decide Buy/Sell/wait as if it were live → play candles forward → log the outcome in your journal. One hour of Bar Replay equals weeks of live-market experience, because you can drill hundreds of setups in a short time.

The Screener (bottom of the screen or the Products menu) finds symbols matching your conditions — e.g. which Forex pairs have RSI under 30 or the biggest movers today. Great for finding opportunities when your usual markets have no setup.

Ideas are public chart analyses published by other traders. They are useful for learning how others analyze, but never enter trades based on someone else's idea without your own analysis — most publishers take no responsibility for outcomes. Pine Script is TradingView's language for building custom indicators/strategies — for those who want to go further, it opens the door to automated strategy backtesting.

More tips: (1) use the Object Tree (bottom-left bar) to manage, hide, or show all drawings, (2) lock important drawings so you don't drag them by accident, (3) customize candle colors in Chart Settings (right-click → Settings), (4) use Snapshot (camera icon, top right) to share your chart as a link or image — perfect for sharing analysis in a group.
