VPS គឺជាផ្នែកមួយនៃ Server ដ៏មានឥទ្ធិពលនៅក្នុង Data Center ដែលត្រូវបានបែងចែកជាកុំព្យូទ័រនិម្មិតតូចៗ។ អ្នកភ្ជាប់ទៅ VPS តាមរយៈ Remote Desktop (RDP) ពីកុំព្យូទ័រ ឬទូរស័ព្ទ ហើយប្រើវាដូចកុំព្យូទ័រ Windows ធម្មតា — ដំឡើង MT4/MT5, Attach EA រួចទុកឱ្យវាដំណើរការ 24/7។

A VPS is a slice of a powerful server in a data center, divided into small virtual computers. You connect to it via Remote Desktop (RDP) from your computer or phone and use it like a normal Windows PC — install MT4/MT5, attach your EA, and let it run 24/7.

ហេតុផលចម្បង៖ (1) EA ត្រូវការដំណើរការជាប់ 24/5 — បើ MT4 បិទ EA ឈប់ Trade ភ្លាម។ (2) អ៊ីនធឺណិត និងភ្លើងនៅកម្ពុជាអាចដាច់ ដែលអាចធ្វើឱ្យ Position បើកចោលដោយគ្មាន Stop Loss Management។ (3) Latency ទាប — VPS នៅជិត Server របស់ Broker អាចកាត់បន្ថយ Slippage សម្រាប់ Scalping EA។

Main reasons: (1) EAs must run continuously 24/5 — if MT4 closes, the EA stops trading instantly. (2) Internet and power in Cambodia can cut out, leaving positions unmanaged. (3) Low latency — a VPS located near your broker's server reduces slippage for scalping EAs.

ត្រូវការ VPS៖ អ្នកប្រើ EA (ជាពិសេស Scalping ឬ Grid EA), អ្នកធ្វើ Copy Trading / Signal Provider, អ្នកមាន Pending Order និង Trailing Stop ដែលត្រូវគ្រប់គ្រងជាប់, និងអ្នកដែលអ៊ីនធឺណិត/ភ្លើងមិនស្ថិតស្ថេរ។

Needs a VPS: anyone running EAs (especially scalping or grid EAs), copy traders / signal providers, traders relying on pending orders and trailing stops that need constant management, and anyone with unstable internet or power.

មិនចាំបាច់ VPS៖ Manual Trader ដែលបើក/បិទ Order ដោយខ្លួនឯង និង Swing Trader ដែលកាន់ Position យូរ ដោយប្រើ Stop Loss / Take Profit ធម្មតា — ព្រោះ SL/TP ត្រូវបានរក្សាទុកនៅលើ Server របស់ Broker ដំណើរការទោះ MT4 បិទក៏ដោយ។ កុំចំណាយលុយលើ VPS បើអ្នកមិនទាន់ត្រូវការ។

Doesn't need one: manual traders who open/close orders themselves, and swing traders holding positions with normal Stop Loss / Take Profit — because SL/TP are stored on the broker's server and work even with MT4 closed. Don't spend money on a VPS you don't need yet.

Specs អប្បបរមាសម្រាប់ MT4/MT5 មួយ Terminal៖ CPU 1–2 Core, RAM 2–4 GB, SSD 40 GB, Windows Server។ បើដំណើរការច្រើន Terminal ឬ EA ធ្ងន់ៗ គួរយក RAM 4 GB ឡើង។ RAM 1 GB គឺតូចពេក — MT5 នឹងគាំង។

Minimum specs for one MT4/MT5 terminal: 1–2 CPU cores, 2–4 GB RAM, 40 GB SSD, Windows Server. If you run multiple terminals or heavy EAs, choose 4 GB RAM or more. 1 GB RAM is too small — MT5 will freeze.

Latency (រយៈពេលបញ្ជូនទិន្នន័យទៅ Broker) សំខាន់បំផុតសម្រាប់ Scalping EA។ Broker ភាគច្រើនមាន Server នៅ London (LD4), New York (NY4) ឬ Tokyo — ជ្រើសរើសទីតាំង VPS ដែលនៅជិត Server Broker បំផុត (សួរ Broker ថា Server គេនៅណា)។ Latency ក្រោម 5ms គឺល្អឥតខ្ចោះ ក្រោម 50ms គឺគ្រប់គ្រាន់សម្រាប់ EA ធម្មតា។

Latency (data travel time to your broker) matters most for scalping EAs. Most brokers host servers in London (LD4), New York (NY4), or Tokyo — pick a VPS location closest to your broker's server (ask your broker where it is). Under 5ms is excellent; under 50ms is fine for normal EAs.

ជម្រើសផ្គត់ផ្គង់៖ (1) Forex VPS ឯកទេស — មាន MT4 ដំឡើងស្រាប់ តម្លៃ ~$15–30/ខែ។ (2) Cloud ទូទៅ ដូចជា Vultr, Contabo — ថោកជាង (~$6–15/ខែ) ប៉ុន្តែត្រូវដំឡើងខ្លួនឯង។ (3) VPS ឥតគិតថ្លៃពី Broker — Broker ខ្លះផ្ដល់ជូនបើ Balance ឬ Volume គ្រប់លក្ខខណ្ឌ សួរ Broker របស់អ្នក!

Provider options: (1) Specialized Forex VPS — MT4 pre-installed, ~$15–30/month. (2) General cloud like Vultr or Contabo — cheaper (~$6–15/month) but self-setup. (3) Free VPS from your broker — some brokers provide one if your balance or volume qualifies. Ask your broker!

ជំហានទី 1 — ភ្ជាប់តាម RDP៖ បន្ទាប់ពីទិញ VPS អ្នកនឹងទទួលបាន IP Address, Username និង Password។ នៅលើ Windows បើក "Remote Desktop Connection" បញ្ចូល IP រួច Login។ នៅលើទូរស័ព្ទ ប្រើ App "Microsoft Remote Desktop"។

Step 1 — Connect via RDP: after purchasing, you receive an IP address, username, and password. On Windows, open "Remote Desktop Connection", enter the IP, and log in. On mobile, use the "Microsoft Remote Desktop" app.

ជំហានទី 2 — ដំឡើង Platform៖ ទាញយក MT4/MT5 ពីគេហទំព័រ Broker (កុំយកពីប្រភពផ្សេង) ដំឡើង រួច Login គណនី Trade។ ជំហានទី 3 — ដំឡើង EA៖ ចម្លងឯកសារ EA (.ex4/.ex5) ចូល Folder MQL4/Experts ឬ MQL5/Experts (File → Open Data Folder), Restart Terminal, Attach EA លើក្រាហ្វិក, បើក AutoTrading (ប៊ូតុងពណ៌បៃតង) និងអនុញ្ញាត "Allow Algo Trading" ក្នុង Options។

Step 2 — Install the platform: download MT4/MT5 from your broker's website (never from other sources), install, and log in to your trading account. Step 3 — Install the EA: copy the EA file (.ex4/.ex5) into MQL4/Experts or MQL5/Experts (File → Open Data Folder), restart the terminal, attach the EA to a chart, enable AutoTrading (the green button), and allow "Algo Trading" in Options.

ជំហានទី 4 — ត្រួតពិនិត្យ៖ ពិនិត្យ Tab "Experts" និង "Journal" ថា EA ដំណើរការដោយគ្មាន Error រួចផ្ដាច់ RDP (បិទ Window ធម្មតា — VPS នៅតែដំណើរការ)។ ចូលពិនិត្យ VPS យ៉ាងហោច 1 ដងក្នុងមួយថ្ងៃ ក្នុងសប្ដាហ៍ដំបូង។

Step 4 — Verify: check the "Experts" and "Journal" tabs for errors, then disconnect RDP (just close the window — the VPS keeps running). Check on the VPS at least once a day during the first week.

សុវត្ថិភាព៖ ប្ដូរ Password ដែល Provider ផ្ដល់ឱ្យភ្លាមៗ ទៅជា Password ខ្លាំង (12+ តួអក្សរ)។ កុំដំឡើងកម្មវិធីមិនចាំបាច់ ឬបើកគេហទំព័រចម្លែកនៅលើ VPS។ VPS មាន IP សាធារណៈ ដូច្នេះវាជាគោលដៅរបស់ Hacker ជានិច្ច។

Security: immediately change the password the provider gave you to a strong one (12+ characters). Don't install unnecessary software or browse random websites on the VPS. A VPS has a public IP, so it is constantly targeted by attackers.

ការថែទាំ៖ (1) បិទ Windows Auto-Update ពេលទីផ្សារបើក — Restart ដោយចៃដន្យអាចធ្វើឱ្យ EA ឈប់។ គ្រោង Update ចុងសប្ដាហ៍វិញ។ (2) ពិនិត្យ RAM/CPU Usage — បើពេញជិត 100% ត្រូវ Upgrade។ (3) កំណត់ MT4 ឱ្យបង្ហាញក្រាហ្វិកតិច (Max bars in chart ទាប) ដើម្បីសន្សំ RAM។ (4) ដាក់ Alert ឬប្រើ EA Monitoring ដើម្បីដឹងភ្លាមបើ Terminal ដាច់ពី Broker។

Maintenance: (1) Disable Windows auto-updates during market hours — a random restart stops your EA. Schedule updates for weekends. (2) Monitor RAM/CPU usage — upgrade if it approaches 100%. (3) Configure MT4 to show fewer bars (low "Max bars in chart") to save RAM. (4) Set an alert or use EA monitoring so you know immediately if the terminal disconnects from the broker.
